Mewtis the Dark is the main antagonist of the 2006 game, Charizard the Dragon. He is the other half of Dialga. He and Dialga combine to form Darkrai. He will return in the 2024 game, Mewtwo Generations, which is bundled with a remaster of the 2011 game, Charizard Generations in Charizard X Mewtwo Generations.

Super Charizard 2 is the advanced super form of Charizard the Dragon, achieved by completing Master Meltan's trial to temper his cyber corruption into newfound power. After Eternatus possessed the defeated Zekrom, Charizard empowered his Super form even further into this state. After using it in this one occasion, Charizard lost the power-up permanently after using the full extent of his cyber corruption as Super Charizard Cyber, in order to destroy Eternatus's physical form. This form only appears in the Story DLC, Charizard Frontiers: The Final Horizon, which was released in 2023.

Super Charizard 2 will make a cameo appearance in flashback in the season 4 of WindFlash Heroes Brave Heart, along with Super Charizard Cyber.

Super Charizard 2 pays homage to the Super Saiyan 2 from Dragon Ball Z franchise.

Super Charizard is the super form of Charizard the Dragon, achieved by harnessing the positive power of the seven Chaos Gems. As his ultimate form, Super Charizard has been by far Charizard's most common transformation since the West Side Island incident, and would become the dragon's greatest trump card against his adversaries in the climaxes of later adventures, providing him with both the power and abilities to save the world on numerous occasions.

Super Charizard is inspired by the Super Saiyan from Dragon Ball Z franchise.
